My project being funded means so much to me because I have a passion for supporting teachers and I like to love on them. SIFT foundation is helping me do that. When the teachers are taken care of, the students are taken care of and teachers can focus on teaching. Having been in the classroom for many years and most recently in a role supporting teachers, I know how much of their own money teachers spend on everyday supplies. It feels good to have the opportunity to support and lighten the load of some of the most important people in our children’s lives.
